Gorogoa Offline: Hand-Drawn Visual Wonder and Multi-Panel Ingenuity
Hand-drawn multi-panel visual wonder and quiet storytelling.

A seven-year hand-drawn labor of love

Gorogoa is unlike any other puzzle game ever conceived. Built across seven years by solo developer Jason Roberts, every single frame and tile is a hand-drawn illustration with breathtaking detail.

The gameplay takes place on a two by two grid. Players zoom into, pan across, and physically overlay different panels to connect disparate narrative scenes across time and space.

The magic of quiet reflection

There is no text, no spoken dialogue, and zero time pressure. Gorogoa asks you to slow down, look closely at subtle artistic details, and find connections between seemingly unrelated worlds.

It is a triumph of indie game development and a masterclass in what mobile screens can achieve when commercial greed is set aside.
