Clear, practical information about how 2048 works.
About this notice
App Factory publishes this game. This notice explains what information 2048 handles, why it is used, and the choices available to you. 2048 does not require you to create an account.
Information stored on your device
2048 stores your current board, score, best score, and preferences such as theme, board style, and haptics on your device. It also stores a small amount of accumulated usage time, used to decide when banner ads can appear. This game progress is not sent to an App Factory server.
Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes these local records unless your device has backed them up.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, 2048 schedules game reminders locally using your device’s time zone. Your reminder preference is stored on your device. These are not sent through an App Factory push-notification server. You can switch Game reminders off in 2048’s Settings or disable notifications in your device settings.
Advertising and third-party services
2048 uses Google Mobile Ads to show banner advertisements, an interstitial advertisement between some games, and optional rewarded videos. Rewarded videos are never required: you can choose to watch one for an extra undo or to continue a finished game.
When an ad request is made, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as your IP address (which may indicate approximate location), device and advertising identifiers where available, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic or delivery information. The exact information depends on your device, region, consent choices, and the ad served.
Where required, the app asks for your advertising consent before requesting ads. You can review your choices using Ad privacy choices in Settings when that option is available, and can also use your device’s privacy and advertising controls.
Analytics and accounts
2048 does not currently initialize Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or an App Factory account system. Ad providers may independently collect information needed to deliver, measure, and protect their advertising services, as described in their own notices.
Your choices and requests
You can stop using 2048, disable notifications in your device settings, manage available advertising consent choices in 2048, and remove locally stored data by clearing 2048 storage or uninstalling it. For questions or privacy requests, contact support@periwin.com. We may ask for information needed to understand and respond to your request.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as 2048 or its services change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when this version was published. Contact App Factory at support@periwin.com with questions about this notice.
